Groups on the BUFYYZ node
As a social network sameboat is focused on groups, whence the sameboat metaphor.
The main means of live interaction in groups is merged IRC and videoconferencing.
Ofc, my main biz relationship is with individual entitled AKPERSONs, and a given individual can have membership in many groups but the architectural focus of the network is the community groups. I am not selling eyeballs nor will I ever allow advertising or sale of user information, individuals wanting that will find copious outlets for it outside of this name space.

On geonodes like BUFYYZ, the top level group is the whole metro region, larger generally than a single city, and subgroups go to the city, town, neighborhood, personal circles of friends. I dont want groups to form for biz purposes but truly non profit groups for any other purpose are fine.
The list of areas selectable at the top of the page only goes to the town or recognized neighborhood level and is system determined but smaller neighborhoods and social groups can be formed by users.
